Mr Wong is one of Britain's most successful in running traders. Here, in an exclusive blog, the supertrader lifts the lid for the first time on how he achieves a healthy profit each month - purely by trading on betting exchanges.

Hi Mr Wong
Firstly, I hope you get well soon.
I have just been reading through your blog, and find it very inspiring.
Do you think it is necessary to have a live link to trade successfully in play, or do you think it can be done by looking at the amounts available to back and lay?
When someone offers to back or lay a horse for a few thousand pounds in-running, would you say it is normally means that they know the horse is highly likely to win or to lose?
Thanks in advance.
Jeff
Hi Jeff,
Imo, playing in-running without live picture is suicidal.
when playing IR i concentrate more on horse(TV) then prices.Imo,the amount of money offer to back or lay usually have no bearing on the outcome the the race.
Cheers
