Further in-running place market hints:
- The money in the place market is nothing like that in the win market. More often than not,if you take a view early in the race, you have to stick to it. As "greening up " is not always viable.
- Know the Jockeys !! Jockeys riding styles can be misleading. Some sit there motionless but have little in the tank, while others will push their mounts along for a whole circuit and get them placed.
- Know the colour !! Some Jockeys' silks are similar or with owners having more than one runner. As the camera more likely focus on the leaders towards the end of the race, you will only have a distant view of the place horses(especially over Jump racing ), So knowing the colour will help you back or lay the right horse.
Thats it for the IR place market, Good luck !!

Well done today, Mr W. How do you stay focused from noon till half nine? My brain is fried after 3 hours. Do you have a max lay price? Maybe it's not such a big issue at Elite but at home, the lay price rockets very quickly to a point which, for me, the risk isn't worth it. One horse rallying to win could wipe me out
Hi Mr Wong
two weeks ago i have looking your blog and i'm fascinated. I never seen this profites before. Tell me one thing. But you bet in the horse or lay the horse and waiting for the race finished OR you making greenbooks?
thanks ver much

HiPaul,
My max lay is 10.5 on my Gruss set up.

LAY 15%, trade,greenup the rest.
