Just a short update today as I must study for a good day's racing tomorrow - 4 afternoon meetings including a good card at Newbury. As you can see from the p&l an average sort of day for me... but on hearing the news about MFI and Woolworths going under today I am relieved to still be able to make a good living from in-running trading !! The British and World economies continue to struggle but we havent seen any downturn in liquidity on Betfair. Long may it continue !!!

Mr Wong - many thanks for your daily insights on the joys on in play trading. Can I ask, do you trade more on the LAY side in running, looking for value lays that you don't think will win according to your form analysis. What percentage, roughly, of Lays over Back trades would you make in all your races? 80-20, or is it 50-50, with just as many Back trades on good value prospects you think will win in the final few furlongs?
Finally, I notice you rarely seem to have two or three consecutive big losses (in the 1k plus range) - how do you guard against that? After a big loss do you adjust your strategy and play safe, or carry on as normal?
Many thanks, and here's hoping your more profitable than Woolworth this week! Cheers, Robbo
Hi Robbo,
you can read my Backs and Lays Percentage in the earlier comment.it is in the in-running place market part 2.
i play the same after big win or big loss, never chase.cause i believe in my ability to make money day in day out.
